Plain English, same as everything else we do. This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Murphy & Co. Operations is operated by Brian Murphy, Cork, Ireland. For anything relating to your personal data, contact info@murphyops.com.
What we collect, and why
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to send. We use these to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask to join the waiting list, to contact you when a place opens. That's the only reason we collect them.
We don't run user accounts, we don't set cookies, and we don't use analytics or tracking of any kind on this site.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA) handles the delivery of contact-form messages to our email. Their handling of your data is covered by their own privacy policy.
- Netlify (Netlify Inc., USA) hosts this website and, like any web host, keeps standard server logs which can include your IP address.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and waitlist details are kept only as long as they're relevant — while we're corresponding with you and while you remain on the waiting list. When they're no longer needed, they're deleted.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email info@murphyops.com and we'll deal with it directly.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
